Marketing State of Mind

Marketing doesn’t really work does it?

In the dark recesses of your mind, you might actually be thinking there is no point in doing another direct mail, website advert etc etc  because the last one bombed. If you believe this, work on banishing this and other negative thoughts about marketing. Think about the positive things marketing can do for your company and Identify areas where you can improve and motivate yourself to achieve much more.

You need to get fit to do great marketing, so now is the time for all that negativity to vanish so undertake this simple exercise. Simply list all the negative things you believe about marketing, or assumptions that might be holding you back. Then substitute them with positive assumptions that will ensure you start from a positive point of view. We have given you one to get started

Negative Belief
Producing another marketing campaign is pointless. The last one bombed and we got no response from it, even though we worked really hard and spent a lot of time and effort on it.

Positive Belief
This is all-or-nothing thinking. The next marketing campaign we develop could produce amazing results. All we need to do is be a little more creative and open up our minds to new ideas and what we could do instead of the same old stuff again and again.
